A Contemplative Walk in an ANCIENT CREATION

About:  An opportunity to spend some reflective time walking purposefully within the Binna Burra section of the Lamington National Park which encompasses part of an ancient forest creation know as Gondwana. The circuit walk is designed to give you the opportunity to be open to the sights, sounds, touch and fragrances of a fascinating variety of ancient rainforest, tall eucalypt forest, and montane heath.

Walking Track:   The 'Daves Creek Circuit' track is a 12 km (return) circuit classified as a 'Grade 4' walk with some rough track surfaces, a moderate level of fitness with bushwalking experience and ankle support footwear is strongly recommended by Queensland National Parks. We plan to be walking for approximately 4 hours with some time to be spent in reflection to the various lookouts to Northern New South Wales and Mt Warning.
